Solid-forged metal alloy handles are complemented by a Swiss precision made hardened cutting blade (replaceable) and an anvil blade with a sap groove. A hardened bolt and nut assure exact adjustment of both the cutting and anvil blades. A rubber cushion and shock absorber provide smooth working and soft closing of this pruner. Length 8.5".

I looked in regular stores for a good pruner but only found the low quality Chinese stuff. I then searched online for a pruner made in the US but found this swiss pruner. It is great, cuts like butter and of good solid quality. I am sure I will still have and use it in 10 years whereas the Chinese stuff ends up in the trash after 6 months. I wish consumers would complain more about the low quality stuff that is on the market these days and pay a few $$$ extra and then get something quality made. -- Great Pruners

I have only used these for 2 weeks, but so far I'm very pleased. They have a good grip, and are great for pruning my roses, plants of all kinds, and have maintained their sharpness.

This hand pruner is wonderful! It cuts through 1 inch branches like butter, it's easy on my hand, and the locking feature stays where I set it. With other pruners, the latch or slide-lock would lock on me while I was using it. This one stays unlocked until I lock it. With lots of bushes to prune, this very well-designed pruner makes my work much easier. -- Best hand pruner I've ever had!
