Fiskars 7936 PowerGear Pruner
Produced by a leader in the garden tools market, the Fiskars PowerGear bypass pruner is perfect for precise clean cutting of green growth. The pruner features Fiskars's trademarked PowerGear design, which maximizes leverage for more pruning power for your effort. As you clasp the pruner, the outside handle actually rotates with the gears, an ingenious design that minimizes strain and fatigue while providing impressive results. The replaceable ultrahardened steel blade is designed to stay sharp longer than leading blades, and the handles are made of reinforced nylon engineered for strength and lightness. Fiskars PowerGear tools have been awarded the Arthritis Foundation's ease-of-use commendation. Designed with comfort in mind, the tool fits perfectly in the hand. With its 3/4-inch cutting capacity, this is definitely a professional quality pruner, but even weekend gardeners can benefit from its fantastic design. Lifetime warranty.

User Reviews about Fiskars 7936 PowerGear Pruner
I bought these and used them half an hour (cutting oak twigs up to half an inch thick) before the spring that recloses the grip broke, requiring me to manually reopen the pruners after every cut. They also squeaked. Was fine when it worked, but didn't work long. -- Not sturdy
The use of this cutter is versitle. For most male patrons they aare easy to use and do the job. For some women this may not be the best as their hands are smaller and their strength is not the same an a man's. But on almost every cut both will enjoy thest cutters. -- good unit
These pruners are strong and durable. Mine are 6 year old and still going strong. These are for student use and nearly indestructible. -- Love these pruners!
I finally broke down and bought a more expensive pair of pruners than usual. The blades on these are great! Small branches and more cut easily, quickly and cleanly. They are certainly a lot more comfortable to hold than the cheap $7 sheers I've purchased in the past.
My biggest issue with them so far is the orange hold-close tab broke almost immediately. They have a life time warranty, but of course I threw away the receipt and all of the packing materials. -- Great blades
The return spring on my Fiskars hand Pruner broke after a few months of use.
A month of unsatisfactory e-mails ended with a prompt, courteous and informative message from Nikki at Fiskars Customer Service in Wisconsin which turned out to be accurate as a new replacement pruner was delivered to our door as I was writing yet another e-mail to Fiskars.
