The Toro 32-inch bypass lopper is designed to pull up to a 2-inch diameter branch into the cut. The tough drop-forged sword steel blade and anvil are extra strong and have a deep sap groove. The 26-inch handles are made from aircraft alloy aluminum with TPR (thermo plastic rubber) rubberized non-slip grips that make them lightweight and have excellent balance. These loppers also have a polyurethane cushion bumper which helps alleviate impact on hands, wrists, elbows and shoulders. The lopper also has patented center oiler bolt technology for ease of maintenance of the tool, allowing for continuous lubrication during operation.

I would give these loppers 5 stars if they had telescoping handles. Also the little "toro" label on the side fell off (it's supposed to be permanent) which makes me wonder about other bits falling off or jamming up. -- good weight, good cutting action

I could not justify to my husband why I bought these loppers from Amazon. BUT, after he used them on some pruning pine trees, he hugged me and actually said "I am glad you bought these"!!! Ladies, if you want to get your husband a gift, this is it. But, I love them, too. I start out by cutting a few limbs here and there and end up spending five to six hours just pruning because these work so well. Plan to rest the day after using them, because you will see sooooo much that needs to be pruned when you start using the TORO loppers. THEY ARE A TEN. Worth every penny spent. -- Best Loppers Ever!!!

I agree with the other reviewers - this is a very nice pair of loppers, and worth far more than the price charged by Amazon. Nothing I've seen in the local big-box stores comes close in terms of quality at the under $20 price point. You would easily have to spend more than three times as much to get better tool.
